Mining companies engage in large scale sampling programs to gain an understanding of the ore they have and where it is. Financing and day to day operational decisions are dependent on this information making it a critical data asset. Through the programs, quality assurance and quality control information (QAQC) is collected to ensure confidence and reliability of the sample results. Currently, geoscience specialists are tasked with analysing and evaluating this data to determine if errors exist.
