Inspiration

When we think of inscription we usually think about clues, codes, and mystery. We wanted to make a murder mystery that included all of them. We also have played games about murder mysteries. That inspired us to make Murder Mystery.

What it does

The User gets to play as a Kid named Terrence. Terrence's Friend dies, and he must use the clues to unravel the killer. It teaches the player to think about everything, even things that they think are not important.

How we built it

We built using Gandhi IDE which is a platform that is similar to scratch, but allows you to collaborate with your peers. We used Scratch Wiki to search how to use certain blocks in our code. We also went on the Scratch to look at other games that are similar to ours.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into quite a few challenges while creating our code. Some of them include the game bugging, and some character not following their code. We also did not know how to do somethings's like make variables, and it was tough to think of blocks that meet our needs. We also struggled to divide the work equally to speed the process up.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We worked nonstop on this project, and a great work ethic. We collaborated well after we had a straight vision of what we had to accomplish for our project to be complete. We payed attention, and worked hard to get this.

What we learned

We learned how to make various types of code like Blocks, Python, and Java very fast because of our great mentors. We learned how to work together as team, and set aside our differences. We worked harder then we ever have, and learned coding.

What's next for Hackathon

We will always keep coding, and working hard to do good in hackathons like this one. Our great work ethic will take us far on the road of coding.
