Inspiration

Remember those chaotic Cooking Dash games? Yea, its one of those but with a hackathon setting.

What it does

Battle your way through a chaotic hackathon experience. Maintain hunger, thirst, fatigue, and exercise all while trying to finish your project before the timer reaches 24 hours.

How I built it

With the IDE/Library called Processing. Great program!

Challenges I ran into

Couldn't make decent looking art sprites so resorted to basic shapes instead. Had to come up with lots of new mechanics and ideas in a small time period.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Created 4 mini-games inside a game that is all balanced and playable.

What I learned

Re-learned breadth first searches for one of the mini-games. Learned how to show and customize different states of the screen to unlock a next level user experience.

What's next for Hackathon Simulator

I would like to add some better art. Also, I would like to expand on some of the existing mini-games along with adding new ones to expand the replayability.
