Inspiration

Understanding the rules of a hackathon can be challenging, especially when they are not in our native language. That's why we developed this application, allowing users to input portions of hackathon rules they find difficult to comprehend. Through interaction with the chatbot, users can gain a clearer understanding of the rules.

What it does

Users can input specific sections of hackathon rules, choose their preferred response language, and engage with the chatbot to simplify the rule comprehension process.

How we built it

We constructed the application using PartyRock by AWS, opting for a no-code development approach.

Challenges we ran into

Surprisingly, we encountered no significant challenges during the project; we effortlessly built it within a few minutes.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We take pride in creating a straightforward chatbot application capable of easily interpreting complex content.

What we learned

Our experience taught us how straightforward it is to develop a simple Rule-Answer-Generate (RAG) system using PartyRock.

What's next for Hackathon Rules Assistant

Our future plans involve enhancing the application by enabling it to process more characters using a Chatbot widget. Additionally, we aim to implement features such as automatically truncating user inputs to meet the acceptable maximum character limit. Continuous improvement will focus on refining error handling messages for a smoother user experience.
