Inspiration

We were inspired by farmers struggles. We personally know farmers who have so little time for stuff they enjoy that we attempted to make our app to simply lower the effort required to do simple tasks.

Learning Python

Our project was written in Python, a language that 2 of our 3 team members had nearly 0 prior experience with. During our project time they had to learn from scratch using the Python Standard Library Documentation and Youtube tutorials. During this time not only did they become proficient, they become 'good' at Python.

Building Omnicheck

We had a ton of challenges, from our lack of knowledge to our bad decisions. When we first began to write, we didn't write our code into functions on separate pages so they could be imported, so, when it became time to combine our code onto one file, we couldn't import anything over, forcing us to copy paste over and rewrite anything that broke.
