Inspiration

Often times in today's world, I see art in offices, restaurants, colleges, etc. and always wondered what other works of art artists who did these works that reside in public places looked like. However often times, the signature was either too hard to read or illegible even though it looks fancy. So I thought, what if there existed an app that could identify an artist's signature and show other pieces of their work using AR.

What it does

It scans a signature (it can only identify signature at the moment) and shows you other pieces of the artist's work, where to find even more, and shows ways you can get in touch with the artist.

How I built it

I built it using Wikitude Studio. The entire thing was design programming (using visuals to program).

Challenges I ran into

The email button wasn't working and I couldn't get it to work. It ended up getting discarded from the project.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud of the layout and of the fact that I was able to make my own target image.

What I learned

I learned how to create some basic AR program that can identify a target image.

What's next for Hackathon project - C.Hollis

I might add some more artist signatures to it so it can identify more. Mostly likely I might move on and do something else with AR and target images.
