Inspiration
We are college freshmen and we are aware of the challenges involved in transitioning from high school to college.
What it does
The website provides resources for students to address and combat mental health challenges, followed by a conversational bot that interacts with the user, serving as a mental-health check-in.
How we built it
Project is built using repl.it, using the languages: java, html, css.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into errors combining java and html files when creating a chatbot within the website.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of our abilities to freshen up on our prior coding skills and building the website in a short-time manner!
What we learned
We learned about how AI can be used to benefit people (in this case interact with students to promote a better state of well-being). We also learned that chatbots can be integrated within websites such as repl.it!
What's next for Mental Health Awareness Project
We would like to share this tool to other college freshman to measure how effectively it benefits them.
