Inspiration

Get an A grade, study hard, get into the Indian Institute of Technology. If you dont understand your lessons just mug it up. Do what you can JUST GET AN A! that is what an average Indian student hears every day. They pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to coaching classes for guidance and mentorship. However, impersonal and expensive as they are, they are useless. Students are still striving to get better means of tutoring, because school is not enough! We went through the same problem.

What does it do

QUEST an on-demand tutoring platform where students can book in-home online tutoring sessions within a very short time. Those who want to learn can get tutors when they need it the most.

How

We used basic HTML5 and Bootstrap to build the website. To add a chatbot, we took the help of landbot.io

Problems

Validating our projects was a bit of an issue in the beginning.

Accomplishments

Thinking of a solution almost 25% cheaper than existing solutions.

We learnt

That assumptions obvious to you may be a complete disaster of a solution.

I wrote the HTML code for the webpage. I tried incorporating Bootstrap to make it look pro and it came out beautiful! Incorporating the chatbot with a bit of CSS did wonders for the page.

Aayusi Biswas
I worked on the chatbot part. Due to the time constraint, I took help of Landbot.io to make a chatbot that makes the student's interaction with the website convenient and positive. I then took the code I received from the website and sent Aayusi to incorporate that into the website. I also helped in making the Demo video.

I worked basically on validating the idea and refining it and designing the layout of the website prototype. I also created the slides for the pitch and edited the demo video.
