Inspiration
Our inspiration comes from international students who struggle to understand lecture recordings.
What it does
Our website allows students to upload their lecture recordings and outputs a video with captions in their own native language. The caption also uses Genshin styled dialogue to make the lecture more interesting.
How we built it
We built this website using python, html5, and css. We imported external python libraries such as moviepy, pillow and numpy. We also used streamlit to link our github repository and deploy it as a live website.
Challenges we ran into
Initially, our output video consisted of duplicate captions. We solved this by removing an extra array that was present in our code.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we managed to get our website to function normally and we managed to debug some errors.
