Inspiration
I have members of my family who have dealt with this condition before, so I have some incite into the topic of mental health.
What it does
You control a character person who, as you get closer towards the skull in the center, representing fear (as well as the encounters with fear), becomes visually distraught, and functions with less efficiency (walks more slowly).
How we built it
I used the Unity Game Engine to compile the assets, code, and animations, and programmed the game in C# using Visual Studio Code.
Challenges we ran into
I had many issues such as flipping boxes to test distances, animation not being correct, as well as a few issues with rendering objects along the way.
I still have a few bugs that are a bit noticeable.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud that I could program this in less than 7 hours, as otherwise, this sort of project would've taken me much longer.
What we learned
Have more knowledge and background of what you are doing before starting a project.
What's next for Hackathon[0] Submission
I may continue it if it is requested, but for now, I will not change/edit the project in the future.
