Inspiration ⏰
Procrastination is not a rare occasion on Hackathons, especially if they are done online. We love to focus on less important stuff right before it comes to the deadline, then you are panicking and struggling to write your Project Story and scrolling up and down non-stop checking how close you are to the deadline.
It's tiring and distracting to constantly go up and check how long before the End of submissions
What it does?
Introducing a floating Deadline Timer that follows you around your submission page! Now you can focus on filling out your submission knowing comfortably that the deadline timer is always visible in the bottom right corner!
How I built it
Using simple javascript and html/css. Countdown is set to go from 24:00:00 in that format, although that is easily changeable and adaptable to the Devpost website!
What's next for Hack the Devpost - Deadline Timer
Let's integrate this timer and make life less stressful and chaotic for those who always submit the project minutes before the deadline!
