Inspiration
We were inspired by community gardens at many colleges that are student run. Not only did they use the environment around them, but also help provide fresh produce and other food for college students to afford. We were inspired by this idea and wanted to create a community garden in our own area, where you do not have to be a college student to volunteer at.
What it does
Our site teaches interested teens about community gardens and their benefits. It helps teens get involved in their community and offers them a way to start or volunteer at a community garden. Also, to help teach teens about more sustainable environmental practices.
