Inspiration

This is my first solo hackathon! While searching who the participants were, I noticed that there was no way to filter by time zone and language so that I can make new friends and have potential teammates in the future.

What it does

My idea is to create two simple dropdown menus. One for time zone selection and the other for language selection. The user can select which time zone and which language they'd like to help them find suitable teammates or to connect with others in similar regions as them.

How we built it

I built my design using Figma.

Challenges we ran into

The challenge I ran into was completing my project before the deadline. I had less than 26 days to complete my design iteration.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud of the way my design looks. I created a clean and simple dropdown menu and stayed in line with Devposts' aesthetic/design system.

What we learned

I learned that these minor fixes, would vastly improve the hackathon experience for all.

What's next for Hack Devpost - Hackathon Enhancements Concept

Hopefully if the Devpost team likes it, they'll implement it as a feature going forward!
