Inspiration

We waste a lot of productive time finding hackathons and contests so we have come up with a one-step solution for this.

What it does

This is a WhatsApp chatbot that gives live information for all ongoing and upcoming hackathons.

How we built it

We used Twilio for sending and receiving messages through Whatsapp. We have used the Python library BeautifulSoup for scraping data from different websites.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into a problem while scraping data as we need to write different codes for a different websites.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We finally developed a WhatsApp chatbot that can help others to find contests and hackathons

What we learned

We learned how to use twilio for making WhatsApp chatbot and also we learnt scraping data from different website.

What's next for Hack Bot

We can integrate notification reminder feature for registered users using Courier API.
