Inspiration
We got the inspiration for developing the project with the help of our fellow friends and teachers who have good experience in teaching as well as relevant skills in different programming languages and frameworks. They wanted the audience to showcase their skills, so we came up with an idea to build this platform.
What it does
Hack And Educate is a web-based platform where the teachers, as well as professionals who have relevant skills in development languages or frameworks, can showcase their knowledge and earn money from it. Students who get enrolled on the platform can view various courses and test their knowledge with quizzes as well as can purchase books of various technologies.
How we built it
Front-end: HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, ReactJs
Back-end: NodeJs, Express
Database: MongoDB
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge we ran into was at the time of hosting while making connections between Node to Mongo.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Accomplishments we are proud of are we were able to help our fellow friends, teachers, and professionals by creating a platform where they can earn money through it and showcase their knowledge and relevant skills to the audience.
What we learned
We have learned many things is about team collaboration. We also learned about the MongoDb basics and connecting it with Node. Also, we learned the basics of ReactJs.
What's next for Hack And Educate
We will provide the online code editor in the course section as well as students will have a section to submit their work done also we will implement RazerPay API for payments in the future.
