Inspiration

We wanted to make coffee when we weren't home, or awake. It would be cooler if it was brewed and ready after a notification was sent to it.

What it does

Brews coffee.

How we built it

Mr. Coffee Breadboard Raspberry Pi 2 Touchscreen monitor for Pi 2 A lot of circuit googling Tearing into power supplies to supply excess energy for all of the components.

Challenges we ran into

Programming the Raspberry Pi 2 and the breadboard circuit.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We added some really cool RGB LED's to notify the user in which state the brewing process is in.

What we learned

Programming pi, basic ECE tips and tasks for better circuit building.

What's next for Hack-A-Java RGB

Setting a brew time based off of online calendars.
