Inspiration

A law that permits California pharmacists to prescribe contraceptives has taken effect. This makes obtaining prescription birth control more convenient and easily accessible. However, not that many people know that this service exists, and not that many pharmacists offer the service.

What it does

Within Reach removes barriers to birth control by helping women to identify the closest locations for pharmacist-prescribed contraception (via a Google Places search with their zip code). We are also working to demand that this service is accessible at all pharmacies (we will provide contact info for pharmacies that don't offer this service so that women can write or call to demand this service).
