Yuups World: The Core Vision
Our project is built on a single, powerful vision: to create not just a game, but a scalable business. We are not just submitting a world; we are presenting a proven, scalable model for bringing a massive, existing audience to the Horizon Worlds platform, and have shown massive execution towards this goal.
Our Core Strengths & Strategy
Before detailing the worlds, our core strategy is built on three pillars that separate us from all other contenders:
We Built Our Audience First: While many creators build and hope for an audience for their world, we've already validated our IP. Our "Yuups"—adorable creatures from a cloud planet—have already amassed millions of views on social media (yuups.world, yuups.its.dizzo, yuups.its.nomi on Instagram). We are now bringing this proven, massive community to Horizon Worlds as our chosen home.
We Built a Physical-to-Virtual "On-Ramp" Toy: We've already manufactured a line of physical Yuups keychains with NFC chips. This is a true transmedia innovation. When a player scans their Yuups toy with their phone, it functions as an "on-ramp," launching them directly into our Yuups World mobile experience.
We Built an Ecosystem, Not a Single World: We went above and beyond to deliver a deeply-integrated ecosystem of THREE worlds to create a robust, social, and sticky player experience.
Gaming Experience: The Three-World Ecosystem
Our ecosystem is built for high social engagement and quick, replayable 2-5 minute loops.
- Yuups World (The Hub): This is our central social lobby. Here, players meet, customize, feed, and dance with our "Most Memorable NPC" contender, the Yuup. This world contains portals to our other mini-game worlds.
- Yuups Cloudy Falls: A competitive, high-energy obstacle course filled with Yuups-themed enemies and challenging platforming.
- Yuups Racer: A 'Mario Kart' style social racing game where friends can compete or just relax and socialize.
How We Built It: A "New to Horizon" GenAI Case Study
Our entire team is comprised of complete novices to game development and Meta Horizon Worlds. This was our greatest challenge and our greatest strength.
We are a living case study in GenAI-Powered Creation and a top contender for the "New to Horizon Mobile" award. We leaned 100% on Meta's new tools to build nearly everything (with the exception of the Yuup NPC itself):
- The stunning AI-generated skyboxes.
- The AI-generated custom 3D meshes.
- The AI-generated sounds and foundational code that powers our games.
Our Future: A Ready-to-Scale Business
We've learned that GenAI tools are a revolutionary force, enabling a team of beginners to deliver a complex, market-ready product. We have proven our IP, our business model, and our ability to deliver.
