Withyouwithme is a social impact company that is revolutionising the hiring system. They’re on a mission to solve underemployment and they’re doing that by putting potential over experience. The CV belongs to the past, and they’re proving it by training overlooked talent for free and helping them find meaningful employment.
We are the Hope team and we all joined Withyouwithme in the past six months. We are a diverse group from all walks of life and prior to joining WYWM, none of us had any experience on the Pega platform. Now we are all qualified Pega Architects and we have built our first app together with the aim of addressing a fundamental problem in today’s society.
Mental health is a crucial issue and an ever-changing, ever-growing one. It is estimated that around 1-in-7 people globally suffer from one or more mental or substance use disorders, and the impact the the Covid-19 pandemic had on mental health cannot be understated.
All of us have experienced a moment of crisis, or gone through a tough moment in our lives and didn’t know where to turn. Although there are many organisations out there that provide help and support, we may not be aware that they exist or how to reach out to them. The process of finding the right support web search after web search, can feel overwhelming and time-consuming, and when experiencing a crisis every second matters.
The Hope app is a place where, with a few clicks, we can find guidance and be put in touch with the right organisation that provides the specific support that we need.
