Inspiration
My inspiration came from the need of having a touch-less log in system. Especially during covid times, we need this more than ever.
What it does
It uses web voice recognition software for the user to detect what the user is saying. It then takes the user on a series of prompts and stores their input into the storage server.
How I built it
Built on Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
Challenges I ran into
Main problem was to get the user's prompts saved so that way you couldn't schedule the same meeting twice. It stores a ton of information, and that can get really tricky sometimes.
Accomplishments that i'm proud of
This is my first ever shot at voice-recognition and webcam software. So this is probably the project I am most proud of.
What we learned
How to store items properly, using a webcam on a website, how voice recognition works.
What's next for H.E.L.P Login
Right now, the doctor cannot put in unavailability. I want to sometime be able for the doctor to submit their calendar (i.e google calendars) without having to touch anything at all! I just didn't have enough time to fully start on this.
PLEASE SEE YOUTUBE VIDEO WHERE I DEMONSTRATE H.E.L.P LOGIN!!! I apologize for linking you to a google drive folder instead of a github repo, but due to the videos and the audio files some files were not able to fully upload to it. Hopefully this should still work!
