Inspiration

We were inspired by our shared experiences, as well as the spirit of AthenaHacks as a space for women and individuals with marginalized gender identities, to create a platform to make it easier to partner up to go to the gym.

What it does

Our homepage/about section shows users more about GymGals, our mailing list allows users to enter their contact information, which is saved to a google sheet, and our schedule does the same but with scheduling information.

Challenges we ran into

One big challenge was actually getting started, as many of us were inexperienced on the logistics of setting our work up for collaboration so later we'd be able to merge the code.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Before this project, we had very limited understanding of how to use git on our computer terminals, but through working on this, we were able to understand it and other commands much better.

What we learned

Learning how to get data from an HTML form into a Google sheet was a valuable skill we learnt while doing this project.
