Project Story: Gyanm - The ResearchAI GPT Inspiration The rapid advancements in AI have revolutionized industries, but researchers, students, and professionals often struggle to efficiently extract, analyze, and generate research-driven insights. We envisioned Gyanm - The ResearchAI GPT as an intelligent assistant that leverages Azure AI services to simplify research, automate workflows, and enhance productivity.

What It Does Gyanm is a multi-modal research assistant that integrates text, voice, and advanced image processing to provide an end-to-end AI-powered research experience. It can:

Summarize and analyze research papers using Azure Cognitive Services. Convert voice queries into structured research insights with Azure Speech Services. Generate high-quality text and code using GitHub Copilot. Perform super-advanced image analysis with Azure Vision AI, extracting key insights from research images, diagrams, charts, and scientific figures. Automate citations and bibliography generation with NLP models.

How We Built It We developed Gyanm using: Azure OpenAI Service for text generation and summarization. Azure Speech-to-Text & Text-to-Speech for voice-based research interaction. Azure Computer Vision for extracting insights from research images, charts, and graphs. GitHub Copilot to accelerate code generation and automation. Azure Functions & Logic Apps for scalable backend integration. Flask & React for an interactive web-based research dashboard.

Challenges We Faced Multi-modal Integration: Combining text, speech, and image-based AI models seamlessly. Optimizing AI Costs: Leveraging Azure Credits effectively while maintaining performance. Ensuring Research Accuracy: Refining models to generate precise and credible academic insights.

Impact & Future Scope With Gyanm, we aim to democratize AI-powered research and make data-driven insights accessible to students, researchers, and professionals worldwide. Future enhancements will include real-time collaboration tools, AI-powered literature review automation, and domain-specific research assistants.
