Inspiration
Inspired by a love for shooting games, $GUNNER combines the best of both worlds - fast paced gameplay that many players will love and a DEFI based metaverse where earning income is easy.
What it does
$GUNNER FINANCE is a single player hunting game, creating a nostalgic gaming experience for many users. Anyone can purchase a NFT Gun, earn income through rewards & staking, compete against other hunters and meet new friends along the way. Every 14 days they player with the highest score will be able to claim the the LINK reward. Gunner's Site, Game This project runs on Kovan testnet.
How we built it
We built it by using Phaser as a game engine. With Phaser we generated the random paths that ducks are following and the interaction with the bullets. We used Moralis to authenticate and sign in the user and we used Moralis to store high scores. We used Chainlink Keeper, to count the days till the release of each reward and we deployed the reward contract on Kovan.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we manage to build a game that we like and combine it with our love for blockchain, in a really sort period of time.
What we learned
We learned how to use Phaser and build a 2D game. Additionally, we got a better underasting of Chainlink ecosystem, since we used Chainlink Keepers.
What's next for Gunner Finance
Our future goals :
- Connect the game with our NFT contract
- Implement other game modes such as Multiplayer
- Deploy on mainnet
- Expand the Gunner's metaverse
