Inspiration

Reality shows that there are many people who have been studying a foreign language a long time but still can not communicate fluently and naturally. That is because they hesitate to speak and afraid of making mistakes. Our group after years of studying English as well as sometime teaching English, found out a solution for this problem - Gulu application - an effective and interesting way to improve your English speaking skill including pronunciation and intonation, chunking and press

What it does

Imitation-based method
The app contains videos (cut of movies, fun clips, songs,...). After 1 or 2 sentences of the native speaker, user have time to repeat the sentences and his voice will be recorded and evaluated after the end of the video. At the end, the result will be shown as well as recommendation to point out what user need to improve.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Create an effective and interesting way to improve English for those who usually hesitate in speaking English in front of many people. User can practice frequently without hesitation with their smartphone
It is not simply show the result, it keeps the record, the previous performance of users as well as some recommendation in usually-incorrect words, so that user can know their process of study English and what they need to focus on

Develop the application with more function, including other languages and for other skills such as listening, reading, writing
