Inspiration

We recognize the difficulties farmers will go through during this pandemic, so we wanted to help them. Our app itself is inspired by Grab, Foodpanda, and Honestbee.

What it does

It allows farmers to set up a page in the app wherein customers can directly order products/produce from them. The items will then be delivered by drivers working with the app. App description- file

How we built it

We used our laptops.

Challenges we ran into

Making the app work was not easy for us. At first, we wanted to present a demo, but since we have no expertise in app coding and development, we decided to just make a description of the app instead. Overall, the technicalities in making an app were our biggest problem. Other than this, some of our members had some wi-fi issues which made communication a little more difficult.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We, as a team, have found great inspiration and drive to push through and endorse the Gulife app. This project has made us realize that we, being only students, can still create change despite our current situation.

What we learned

Through this project, we learned the importance of teamwork and unity. Since we could not meet up together to work due to the pandemic, we each had to do our part diligently for the making of this project to be possible.

What's next for Gu-Life

We at Gu-Life truly wish that our app, if chosen to be produced and endorsed, will be a great help to the people that need it. We hope that the app itself will grow and will be used not only in regions in the Philippines but also in various countries around the world. We truly believe that faith brings about change, and with this app, we can help turn the suffering into prosperity.
