LiveBoard is an easy-to-use tool to live stream classroom blackboard view.
It's half past 1 and you rush into the lecture hall, having to sit in the back of class for being late. Your professor has a microphone but the board is stuck at the same size, looming farther away the higher you climb the steps to an open seat. The professor is explaining the latest lesson, but he's blocking the ever-important diagram. As soon as you seem to understand, your eyes wander away, and in less than a second you're lost in your dreams. If only you could have seen the board up close!
LiveBoard is here to help! With a two-camera setup and a web-facing server, the board is rendered online, ready to be studied, understood and even saved for a later date. Functioning as either a broadcast or a recording, along with a Matlab backend and Django server, LiveBoard is here to facilitate studying for everyone.
Setup for use is easy. As phones can easily operate as IP cameras, any board can be captured and displayed with full convenience.
