Inspiration

Quiz games are fun and also quite useful as they provide knowledge in exchange of the time we give them. The main inspiration was to be able to let people know of the countries they've probably never heard of and learn something useful for good times sake.

What it does

It's a guessing game where 3 options are generated with 1 being the correct answer for the randomly selected flag of a country.

How we built it

Instead of relying on an API (which would've been faster and easier to integrate) we opted to storing the flag images and json data of the countries in the codebase cause it's actually quite a small amount of data. then we proceeded to think up of game modes and scoring system for the game and lastly to the implementation phase.

Challenges we ran into

the react like syntax is quite familiar, but not being able to have hooks like useEffect and useContext made us think up a lot for alternatives and it was challanging but we learnt a lot because of this.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of putting all our effort in this project and we learned a lot about how reddit works even though most of are new to It we understand it has a complex ecosystem that would've been hard or time-taking to understand if not for this opportunity.
