Guess crush!

It's the mini game which work as the magic 8 ball, but with the romantic theme. So you think about your crush and think a question in your head. Then, you press the button to get the answer.

Inspiration

Actually, my target to come here is attend to workshop and find out my passion. Therefore, as the first time I really don't have any plan to do this project. However, when I saw that many people there just go with their project without doubt, it inspires me and I want to try. Therefore, I choose the project which I can do by myself because I think that it's late to find teammates.

What it does

It's really challenge me, because I didn't make that before especially the GUI. However, I learn many things from that. Firstly, it help me know how to use the pygame. Secondly, it helps me know how to combine those to run the project. Finally, it helps me believe in myself more, I can do it.

How we built it

First, I find the idea from the 8 ball magic, and the question of my friend who just keep asking me that do you think her crush like her or not. Second, I write the program to get the random answer first. Then, I make the GUI by pygame.

Challenges we ran into

Because this is the first time I use pygame, it really challenges with me. I used to get the struggle when I make the button. When I click the button, it didn't work. The second issue is that I cannot show the answer in the game interface. Unfortunately, I still cannot fix it, I will try to fix it again when I came home.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The thing make me proud of is that I can connect the button to the function to get the answers.

What we learned

I learn many new things from this project, such as how to create the game, game interface, how to make it work. Especially, it helps me know how to fix the problems and dealing with it in the short time. Besides, it helps me know that I not as bad as I thought.

What's next for Guessing crush

I think I will find the way to make the answer show in the game interface. Besides, I will put more motion and make the design more pretty. Finally, I will give it to my friend so she won't ask me about her crush anymore.
