We wanted to make a game that informs the public about NFT's as well as shows the shocking price tags.

What it does

The player picks between 3 random NFTs from the top collections (determined through OpenSea's NFT database) to guess which of the 3 shown is most expensive. After finishing the game, the player can look at the information on each NFT via the links that appear under each picture.

How we built it

Javascript, HTML, CSS

Challenges we ran into

One challenge we ran into was not knowing Javascript at all. It was a completely new language for us. HTML and CSS were relatively new to us too since we only started learning them in class this semester. Also, we had to learn how to web scrape in order to get our NFT data for our project because OpenSea's API is rate-limited and requires API keys.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're really proud that we made this project because of all the new languages we needed learn from scratch in order to do it. It was also the first hackathon for one of us!

What we learned

We learned how to use Javascript and how to interact with a website via Javascript programming, and how to create clean websites via HTML and CSS positioning.

What's next for Guess the Most Expensive NFT Game

Improvements that can be made to our application in the future include the addition of a database and more efficient, clean code as we continue to learn more about Javascript, HTML and CSS.
