Inspiration
We wanted to build something simple, fun, and Guess the Flag is easy to understand but challenging enough to keep players engaged with different difficulty levels
What it does
Guess the flag is an interactive Roblox game where players are shown a country flag and must correctly answer all to win the game.
How we built it
We built the game using Roblox studio and programmed it with Lua. We used GitHub to manage collaboration and track changes across our team
Challenges we ran into
- Learning how to code in Lua
- Understanding how to sync visual studio code with Roblox studio using Tojo
- Figuring out Git workflows ( branches, commits , pull requests etc)
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Working as a team using git
- Completing a working game as beginners
- Successfully setting up Rojo and syncing our project.
What we learned
- The importance of version control as beginners
- How Roblox scripting works in Lua
What's next for Guess the Flag
- Adding sound effects
- Increasing number of flags etc
Built With
- luau
- roblox
