Guau App

Inspiration We created Guau App to transform how pet owners connect with trusted caregivers, starting in Argentina with a vision for global scale. Our goal was to build a modern marketplace where operations are powered by intelligent, autonomous decisions directly in production.

What it does Guau App is a full-featured pet care marketplace. Beyond standard booking and caregiver profiles, the platform leverages Gemini AI to execute real-time business decisions, automate customer workflows, handle operational scheduling, and streamline communication between pet owners and walkers.

How we built it We built a modern, resilient architecture designed for cloud scalability:

• Backend: NestJS (TypeScript) orchestrating core APIs and business logic.
• Database & ORM: PostgreSQL managed via Prisma ORM for structured data.
• AI Core: Integrated Google Gemini models running autonomous production agents for real-time operational decisions.
• Infrastructure: Containerized with Docker and deployed on Google Cloud Run for serverless auto-scaling.
• Frontend: Next.js delivering a fast, responsive user interface.
