Inspiration
Public safety in public transport and smart security are major concerns today. We wanted to build a proactive system using AI and Amazon tools that can automatically detect suspicious activities or threats in real-time and notify emergency services instantly.
What it does
GuardianRing AI continuously analyzes camera streams using computer vision. When a threat or violence is detected, it triggers instant alerts through Amazon Alexa and sends automatic notifications to local control rooms/emergency services.
How we built it
We designed the architecture combining AI detection models with Amazon Ring and Alexa SDKs/simulators.
Challenges we ran into
Integrating real-time video stream analysis with voice alerts and handling low-latency notifications.

Designing a full end-to-end concept for public safety that can potentially save lives.
What we learned
Gained deeper knowledge about Amazon Developer APIs, Alexa Skill concepts, and AI integration for real-world impact.
