Inspiration
I wanted to create a visual escape into a world of fluorescent colors and cosmic energy. My inspiration comes from the intersection of high fantasy, nature, and sci-fi aesthetics. As a traditional and digital artist (and founder of the "Metal Angel" brand), I wanted to bring a static character to life through motion, exploring how AI can expand the boundaries of visual storytelling.
What it does
"Guardian of the Psychedelic Dimension" is a short AI-generated music video. It follows an Elf Guardian as she travels through a neon-lit universe filled with giant mushrooms, space cats, and aliens. The video is not just a visual trip; it carries a narrative about connection and responsibility, culminating in the powerful message: "I love and protect my world."
How I built it
My workflow combined advanced generative models with precise editing: 1. Image Generation: I used Grok to create the high-quality, hyper-realistic base images of the Elf and the psychedelic environment. 2. Video Generation: I utilized Sora and other Generative AI tools to animate these static images, creating smooth camera movements and character actions. 3. Editing: I used CapCut to assemble the clips, sync them to the beat of the music, and add visual effects. 4. Audio: The music track was selected and licensed via Clipchamp to ensure copyright compliance.
Challenges I ran into
The biggest challenge was consistency. In Generative AI, it is difficult to keep the character's face and style identical across different scenes (flying, holding magic, standing with cats). I had to use advanced prompt engineering to ensure the "Guardian" looked like the same person throughout the entire video.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I am incredibly proud of the color grading and atmosphere. Achieving that specific "fluorescent" and "blacklight" look without making the video look low-quality was a goal I achieved. Also, I am proud of the narrative arc telling a story of protection and love without using spoken words, only visuals and text overlays.
What I learned
I deepened my understanding of hybrid workflows. I learned that AI is not a "make art" button, but a complex tool that requires a director's vision. I also refined my skills in synchronizing fast-paced Drum & Bass rhythms with slow-motion visual content.
What's next for Untitled
I plan to expand this universe into a larger series under my Metal Angel brand. I want to explore more "dimensions" and characters, potentially turning this into a full collection of narrative digital art pieces on the blockchain.
