Inspiration
Winter storms and extreme weather events have the potential to massively disrupt communities across the world. For drivers, driving on a road with multiple unknown circumstances is a dangerous action.
What it does
Guardian of Blizzard is the solution that can collect and analyze the history of road info within multiple dimension of factors and provide the safest driving route with its own algorithm and rating system powered by AutoAI by IBM.
How I built it
Update Road Info Collect new data from the road and update route condition. Route Suggestion According to Dijkstra’s Algorithm, calculate the safest way for driver. Road Condition Use current road condition to predict danger rate of the road. Train Model Based on the IBM AutoAI, train database for the road condition prediction. Raw Data The traffic accident rate according to the previous record, based on our influence factors.
Challenges I ran into
- Access the AutoAI trained result
- Develop Dijkstra’s Algorithm
- Collect Raw Road Data
- Access and export CSV file
- Using large amount of data in Unity tool
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
- Successfully get the trained data from AutoAPI and manipulate it
- Successfully develop Dijkstra’s Algorithm for automatic routing selection
- Build animation ## What I learned
- Learn the way to corporate with team members
- Train model using our own raw data
- Using Unity to rander animation
What's next for Guardian of Blizzard
- Access Map API to increase the accuracy
- Lively update road data for user
Built With
- autoai
- ibm-watson
- python
- unity
