Design inspiration

Inspiration

Japanese Tamagotchi toys and security/privacy checkup lists.

What it does

Gives a few helpful links, lets you change the mascot ;) Gives some tasks to increase privacy and security.

How we built it

We built this application using QT Creator, which is an GUI application development environment.

Challenges we ran into

We didn't know anything about QT Creator or UI design in general! Had to learn it from the ground up, but it's a pretty cool program to mess around with.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Honestly, we just wanted to make an application that did SOMETHING and submit it, and learn more about application and UI development.

The basics of QT Creator and some UI design.

What's next for PrivacyPal

It would be cool to have some more privacy functionality, maybe block trackers or have it integrate with other software that does similar tasks. Or not haha, it was kind of just for fun.
