Inspiration

My friend has a problem - he would drink three Monster Energy Drinks a day and I'm not sure how he is still alive. That's why I decided to help him and make an app that can help him fight his addiction.

What it does

Guardian Angel is a very simple app - you provide your addictions during the onboarding process and then, every day you can select whether you are clean or not.

How we built it

The app is built with flutter, provider, flutter_hooks, and (of course) RevenueCat <3

Challenges we ran into

I've released this app on both iOS and Android and testing subscriptions on Android is quite annoying, because you have to add testers and then release a build for closed testing for subscriptions to work.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

My friend stopped drinking energy drinks for 2 days.

What we learned

It's my first app with subscriptions that I released on Android, so learning how to do something new was a fun experience. In the future, I want to release more serious projects though.

What's next for Guardian Angel

I want to implement goals/achievements in this app, so people are more motivated to be clean.
