Inspiration

  • I like to travel and I think most people around the globe love it too. Travelling comes with lots of hassel and documenting and most important; information about the place. I see most of the tourist face biggest issue while they are travelling are scams, lack of proper news and proper community.

While scaming have been increasing over last 10 years in most hyped tourist destination. I thought of creating an agentic-travel community where users gets real-time data of live news, alerts and community where people can share their information or stories.

What it does

  • Guard Nomand provides real-time data related to travel information, alerts, and any kind of scam datas available about the country or city to the users. And beside providing information for alert, it also have a feature of story board where users come together and share their part of journey around the globe. Where we don't offer any connection option but just see and react and yes commenting.

How we built it

  • The application is built on react + typescript + agno.com (for agent), exa.ai api for data search. I used bolt.new to create base such as UI and connected it with database such as supabase, and github.
  • Then changed to cursor.com to use sonnet-4 to create my app more better in term of functions and I have created an agent using agno.com framework specially using exa.ai api to provide real-time data to users on the basis of their location.

Challenges we ran into

  • Bolt.new is not capable to create this app for me. I encountered lots of issues with bolt as it could not solve or understand the problem properly.
  • API time run-out or per day session expiration of such api made my app very challenging to provide real time data to users.
  • I am non-developer and just a good vibe coder. As due to my technical incapabilities I could not create it faster and more better. ## Accomplishments that we're proud of
  • Created an product from 0 to MVP.
  • I am an student with 2 jobs, but still managing to finish this idea. I am proud of it.
  • I improved my vibe coding skills and problem solving skills, the pressure management.

What we learned

  • I learned a lot about the use of APIs and MCPs.
  • Importance of token while using agent.
  • I learned that AI can take you to home, if you can guide with right direction.
