Inspiration
At the time of every end semester exam, students have to search for past year question papers online and as a result, a lot of their time gets wasted.
What it does
Our android application provides past years question papers easily and instantly, free of cost.
How we built it
We used Android Studio for building our app in Java and used Firebase for database.
Challenges we ran into
It was very difficult to store the downloaded question papers in internal storage and also to display notification when the app has finished downloading the question papers.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have successfully built the Firebase data base, uploaded question papers and provided the feature of downloading them.
What we learned
Notifications Firebase Storage, Firebase Authentication, Files in Java, GitHub integration.
What's next for GTU Instant Prep
We are thinking of providing sample question papers and test series in the next version.
