Inspiration

We generally noticed that a lot of the different appliances and outlets were not working fully and sometimes malfunctioning, taking a long time for maintenance people to fix these requests. Wanted to create a more streamlined system, and also increase social interaction among students with study groups.

What it does

Offers a map of the different appliances, and students can submit tickets of which appliances have malfunctioned, whilst the staff can easily look into it and resolve these maintenance requests. The bulletin board on the other hand allows us to easily access the different study groups and create them.

Frontend and backend implementation, ensuring accurate rights are given to each user

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Interactive map and bulletin board, both super cool and fun to use, and you can dynamically move the sticky notes around like in the real world.

What we learned

We learned a lot about the mongo db connection, api endpoints, express frameworks, css styling and github fundamentals, but more importantly the ability to work together in a team in a chaotic but fun environment focussing on a specific goal.
