My Inspiration was the classic battleship game itself, I needed to make it in a way that users themselves can place ships on the grid and create new games, But couldn't make it in time

What it does

So now when a new post is created, ships will be placed randomly and users can play solo and sink ships and climb up the leaderboard

Challenges we ran into

Mostly UI challenges and then redis since I had never used it before, was only familiar with react basics and then pagination was a bit hard

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud that I managed to make something okayish in a short time span while not so familiar with the tech stack

What we learned

Learnt to use redis and also realized what I could have done better if planned well from beginning

What's next for Battleship

Feature where users can create a new post and themselves place ships on grid or maybe custom ship types and lengths
