Inspired by the surge in contactless dining and dynamic digital menus, my platform elevates QR-based menus into interactive, intelligent dining experiences, overcoming common UX barriers

What it does It enables restaurants to generate branded QR menus with photos, create offer, and public listing in a searchable directory. Diners can rate dishes and restaurants, save for next, warnings allergy and spice alerts, favorites, and receive AI-based meal recommendations.

How I built it Developed as a SPA (React/Vue) with a RESTful backend (Node.js/Python) and database for menus, users, ratings, and offers. Integrated QR code generation, allergy/spice metadata, AI recommendation engine, and dashboards for restaurant management.

Challenges I ran into Designing clear menu with all the functions with out charge the visuals.

Implementing dual-rating logic for both dishes and the restaurant.

Balancing personalization AI to avoid bias and ensure relevance.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of Launched a dual rating system (item + restaurant) with intuitive UI.

Integrated AI-driven suggestions boosting upsell potential.

Deployed a responsive directory with equals rights to all the restaurants and offers for dinners.

What I learned Well, I don’t know anything about databases, React, programming, or software development, so I’ve learned an incredible amount. Even if I don’t win any prize for this, the experience of being able to develop what I, as an advertiser and designer, had in my mind is unique. I don’t know how to meet the other requirements Bolt asks for to participate in the hackathon, but this experience is worth everything.” Effective visual can improve the functions info elevate safety and trust.

Also, AI personalization needs careful tuning to stay unbiased.
