Inspiration
Everyone loves Jo's and Andrews, but not everyone is so geographically fortunate as to have these campus favorites conveniently across the street from their dorm. GrubCub makes Brown students' lives easier by connecting hungry cubs with pals willing to lend a hand. Using GrubCub you can request other students to pick up your meal, or you can be a good samaritan and pick up for a stranger. GrubCub is a free platform for everyone that relies on the supportive nature of the Brown community.
Social Good
We make accessibility our top priority at a time when dining halls are no longer reserved for cozying up with friends indoors. GrubCub hopes to attract enough interest to successfully de-densify dining hall pick up locations and decrease the spread of Covid-19. Instead of ten people rushing into Joe's, only to walk all the way back to Keeney, we hope GrubCub will enable students to bring back five or more meals for their neighbors.

In just 12 hours, our team created a fully functioning MVP using HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Firebase. The website is ready to use now! We are excited to start spreading the word and connecting hungry cubs with pals willing to take an extra bag. Check the website out below!
