Inspiration

I loved the positivity and growth symbolized by bees. The hive concept reflects how learning builds over time in the same way bees build a hive.

What it does

GrowthGuild is a gamified learning hub where users complete challenges, earn badges, and grow their personal hive. Each badge represents a skill mastered or a milestone achieved, making learning visual and fun.

How we built it

Frontend: React + TypeScript + TailwindCSS for responsive UI. Backend: Node.JS Database: Firebase Firestore for real-time badge and challenge tracking and Authentication

Challenges we ran into

Configuring Firebase to fit the application’s needs was trickier than expected, and we realized the importance of planning for scalability early on. Designing a dynamic hexagonal hive layout also required creative CSS solutions.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Built a fully functional gamified dashboard in under 48 hours. Implemented a unique badge hive system that visually represents progress.
