To make India a pollution-free and carbon-neutral country.
Our application focuses on solving the problem of climate change by utilizing the real-world data that is currently available. Application searches data like air-quality, forest density, etc and uses all the data to calculate a normalized score for each user and recommend them tasks based on their normalized score. Users can also maintain, track, share, and collaborate with other users
The application fetches the address of the user through reverse geocoding API from the location coordinates obtained from the app. Using the location we fetch the following data -
Air quality data of user location through whether it API Forest cover and trees cover data of user's district from Data.gov.in using API Users district groundwater level data from Data.gov.in using API Users district source of electricity and consumption data from Data.gov.in. This data is used to calculate the normalized score
Getting real-world data is one of the most challenging tasks. Since some of the data is not available in API'S , we have to download the data and convert it into JSON and upload on our database
We are proud of showing users the real-world data. And we are calculating a normalized score for each user, which help's the user to determine the steps(Plant trees, Use Public transports, etc) for making this globe carbon-neutral by 2030.
We learned about our surroundings and the extensive use of energy and deforestation around us. And we learned to use APIs and integrating them to Android and also learned to create a backend server for managing our calculations and services.
We want to take our application to general people
