Inspiration

As a creator who struggled to monetize live content effectively, I saw a gap: existing tools were clunky, disconnected, and lacked the polish needed to stand out. I wanted to build something that combined the best of live streaming infrastructure and e-commerce tools—intuitive, visually stunning, and built for the way we create and sell in today’s digital landscape.

What it does

LiveShopping Studio is a SaaS platform that empowers content creators to launch and scale live commerce streams effortlessly. From custom branded stream setups to real-time inventory management, AI-driven audience engagement, and data analytics, it’s a one-stop shop to turn live content into revenue.

How we built it

I started with wireframing the core user journey—from homepage to dashboard—prioritizing smooth animations and intuitive navigation. Using React for the frontend, Tailwind CSS for styling, and GSAP for animations, I built out modular components (live room setup, order tracking, AI replies) with a focus on visual hierarchy and interactivity. Chart.js powered the data dashboards, and Three.js brought 3D product showcases to life.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest hurdle was balancing high-end animations with performance—ensuring smooth transitions without lag on different devices. I also struggled to design AI reply logic that felt natural, not robotic, and had to iterate repeatedly to refine the real-time inventory simulation flow for realism.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating a seamless, visually striking experience that feels premium yet easy to use. The 3D product carousel and parallax hero section stand out, and the AI comment response system now delivers contextually relevant replies that mimic real human interaction. Most importantly, the platform flows intuitively from discovery (homepage) to action (dashboard).

What we learned

I deepened my understanding of animation performance optimization and user-centric design—small tweaks to easing functions or hover states make a huge difference in perceived quality. I also learned how to balance aesthetic ambition with practical functionality; not every animation needs to be flashy—just purposeful.

What's next for this project

I plan to add deeper analytics features (conversion tracking, audience segmentation) and integrate with social media APIs to pull in real creator data. I also want to expand the customization options for stream branding and add collaborative tools for creator teams. Finally, optimizing the mobile experience to match the desktop polish is a top priority.
