We've built a platform for millennials to invite friends for group travel. Users pick from preset packages or assemble their own experience. Friends pay a small refundable deposit to save a spot, and the app helps them plan their savings towards the trip. Friends then cheer each other on to complete their contributions.
Our group picked travel because most millennials we interviewed say they just want to enjoy life... they feel no urgency to save for a house or retirement because those goals seem too distant. So, we want to build good financial habits in the context of something fun, and still nurture skills for future financial goals.
