Inspiration
Society committees drown in information overload. Decisions scatter across busy group chats, and even members who attend every meeting can't keep a clear picture of what was agreed, what changed, and who owes what.
What it does (proposed)
Group Memory is designed as an assistant with shared group memory. Members would ask plain questions - "What's happening with the event?", "Was the venue actually confirmed?" - and get answers drawn from the group's authorized chat archive on a UGREEN NAS, citing sources and separating what was agreed, suggested, superseded and left unresolved. The intended experience answers the asker in DM by default and posts to the group only when explicitly asked.
How it is designed to work
The submitted Skill is a proposed UGOS workflow: it orchestrates registered expert agents (file, document, knowledge) over the authorized archive using only supported CLI capabilities. A disclosed external connector (not part of the package, not yet implemented, organizer acceptance unconfirmed) would sync the group chat to the NAS; until then, testing uses exported chat files placed on the NAS manually.
Challenges
Designing within the supported NAS capability set - no chat or connector capability exists - while keeping the group-bot product vision honest about what is built and what is proposed.
Status
Concept and Skill orchestration are complete; the Skill has not been run on NAS hardware and the connector is not implemented. Runtime validation is planned for the Finalist testing day if selected.
