Alice and Bob are both going out for lunch. They bicker and fret, but eventually nail down a place to go. Then Carol calls and says she is coming too - this is a problem. Maybe they are all lucky and they agree before lunchtime is over, maybe not, but what happens when Dan says he is coming too? This can become a nightmare situation quickly.

We have all been there of course, and choosing the location for a group lunch can be a frustrating, time consuming process and it only gets worse the more people you are going with. This is where GroupEat comes in. Using Capital One's Nessie API as a proof of concept data source, GroupEat analyzes your previous dining history and using the dining history of your companions recommends a location that you all can enjoy.
