Inspiration
We saw that it was very hard for patients to figure out complex medical jargon and wanted to create an application that easily allows patients to upload their information and receive feedback.
What it does
Patients can upload images of their bills and medical information and our application will decode it.
How we built it
We built this app with XCode and Cursor
Challenges we ran into
One challenge we ran into was differentiating ourselves from existing solutions and we found that there was no catch all application for reading bills, translating medical jargon, and keeping track of medication.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of our user interface since it is very easy for patients to use.
What we learned
We learnt to streamline the user experience to keep the tool streamlined.
What's next for MedLens
The next step for MedLens is to continue developing it and testing it with more customer data and then eventually roll it out on a trial basis. Healthcare professionals can also recommend to patients through partnerships with hospitals.
