Inspiration

Relationships between museums and marginalized individuals whose works they display in their exhibits.

What it does

Our solution is a blockchain virtual ledger for a secure and reliable provenance record as well as a method to allocate additional revenues to involved parties.

How we built it

We used a java blockchain implementation with a GUI to interact with the program.

Challenges we ran into

Bugs with the hash function and lack of understanding between different parties' expertise.

What we learned

Several of us didn't know how blockchain ledgers worked before this hackathon. I gained valuable legal knowledge about the bailor/bailee relationship.
